Our associates have managed UK and pan-European projects for both volume and prestige brands such as Audi, Bentley, BMW, Citroen, Ford, Land Rover, MAN, Mazda, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, Saab, SEAT, Skoda, Vauxhall and components manufacturer Visteon, plus studies of the automotive rental and leasing sector.

This experience covers the private and commercial vehicles sector. Project targets have been fleet managers, service managers, sales personnel, technicians and end-users using the full range of methodologies such as:

• in-dealer or in-office research
• in-home depth interviews
• focus group moderation
• telephone research
• test-drive research etc

Our associates in the automotive industry have experience from an array of research projects:

• undertaken UK and pan-European projects for both volume and prestige marques such as Vauxhall, Saab, and Audi, to understand automotive CRM – what it means to customers and how value is added
• moderated qualitative groups in Car Clinics in the UK and abroad for both volume and prestige brands
• conducted in-home depth interviews to understand reasons for purchase of owners as diverse as Bentley owners and and pick-up owners
• conducted on-site and in-office interviews to understand the needs of owners, fleet managers and contract hire companies, both for product usage and communications development
• assisted with test-drive research, comparing prestige brands for engineering performance and cabin environment.
  

In the commercial vehicles sector, we have conducted face-to face interviews with fleet managers and owner operators of a wide range of makes, from heavy goods vehicles such as tipper trucks through to commercial vans. This includes interviews both with fleet managers and service managers who outsource their servicing and those who maintain their own commercial fleets and service issues in the commercial sector.
