Andrew Lester benefits from over 30 years' experience in the logistics and distribution industries. Following 14 years hands-on senior sales and marketing positions in the commercial carrier business, Mr Lester established the marketing consultancy practice Andrew Lester & Associates in 1986. During the 1987-1991 period he completed more than 40 projects under the DTI Enterprise Initiative. In the late 1980’s he designed, developed and delivered an ongoing market intelligence research programme and proprietary software tools for the Brussels-based International Post Corporation, on behalf of 19 postal authorities across Europe and North America.

Mr Lester is a member and Registered Speaker of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Papers include: "Surveying Businesses by Telephone - A Case Study of Methodology", 1994.
